London Fashion Weekend was for me an amazing experience. It was my first time but not the last time for sure!!! It was a perfect opportunity to immerse myself in the world of fashion get new inspiration and to see new trends for autumn and winter 2014. The show took place in Somerset House where the biggest pop-up boutique was placed. You could buy over 250 of the world's most established designer brands as well as the emerging labels at irresistible price.
The queue for the catwalk show was as long as from London to Cracow (Kraków) but it was worth to wait. It is nothing worst that be seated in the last row at the catwalk show. So......... you have to get yourself in the first row? As English people say: "When there is a will there is a way" I wanted to take some good shots but my place was almost in the last row. I went to the lady who was in charge of locating people and I just said to her few words;-) and here I was sitting in a first row in the middle. So happy!!!
The sow presented four styles: One and Only, Candy Crush, Jungle Fever and Fairy Tale Ending.
One and Only was encouraging women to pick up one colour and to stick with it! From head-to-toe wear the same colour but with the different shades and paly with proportion and texture.
Designers( Roland Mouret and Philip Lim)
Candy Crush presented pastel shades like lilacs, powder pink and baby blues leading the way for autumn and winter. It was a grown up approach - look to structured shilhouettes, sharp tailoring andelegant sportswear by Simone Rocha, Acne Studios and Helmut Lang.
Jungle Fiver collection was a tropical storm on the catwalk this season thanks to abundance of lush hues, exotic motifs and tribal prints! Brave the wilderness with earthly tones and animal prints by Isabel Marant, Antonio Berardi, Alexander Wang and Ostwald Helgason.
